TERMS & CONDITIONS

• Inclusions: Onboard accommodation, all meals as itinerary, entrance fees, kayaking/bamboo boat, English-speaking guide, onboard insurance.

• Exclusions: Round-trip transfers, beverages, spa/massage, tips, holiday surcharges, personal expenses.

• Deposit & Balance:

  • A 50% deposit required upon booking confirmation. Balance must be paid at least 7 days before departure.

  • Bookings made within 45 days of departure require 100% full payment upon confirmation.

• Payment methods & fees:

  • Credit/Debit Card (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, AMEX via OnePAY): A 4% payment gateway fee applies (strictly non-refundable).

  • Bank transfer: Guests cover all bank transaction fees.

  • Cash: Accepted in VND, USD or EUR. Local currency is preferred.

Note: Payment gateway fees are strictly non-refundable under all cancellation circumstances.

Amendments: Date changes requested 15+ days prior to departure are free (subject to availability). Changes within 14 days are treated as cancellations. New travel dates or cabin category upgrades / changes will be recalculated based on current seasonal rates and applicable price differences. All modifications are valid only upon official written confirmation from Oris Cruises.

We reserve the right to postpone, shorten, or cancel bookings without prior notice due to severe weather conditions (including typhoons, thunderstorms, or monsoons) or other force majeure events (such as civil unrest, natural disasters, or local Port Authority regulations). In such cases, all adjustments or cancellations will be strictly enforced to ensure guest safety in accordance with our bad weather policies as follows:

• Cancellation before departure / prior to service use: 100% refund (excluding bank transaction fees).

• Cancellation at harbor before 12:00 PM (departure day): Total refund minus fees for services already used (such as transfer or meal).

• 2D1N trip shortened to day cruise: Charged at 50% of the 2D1N package rate (difference refunded).

• 3D2N trip shortened to 2D1N (due to weather): Booking rate will be recalculated to the 2D1N package price, and the price difference will be refunded.

• 3D2N trip shortened to 2D1N + day trip (until 16:00 - 17:00): Guests will be charged 75% of the total 3D2N package rate, with the remaining balance refunded.

• Voluntarily unused services: No refund or compensation will be provided.

(Note: Child age is strictly determined by birth year on passport)

• Maximum Allowance: Child rates apply to a maximum of ONE child per cabin.

• Under 5 years old: 1 child stays FREE per cabin (sharing bed with parents).

• 5 to 7 years old: Charged 50% of adult rate (sharing bed with parents).

• 8 to 11 years old: Charged 75% of adult rate (sharing bed with parents).

• 12 years and older: Charged 100% of adult rate.

• Two children under 12 in a separate cabin: Charged 100% of adult cabin rate.

• Extra bed: Any child requesting an extra bed will be charged 100% of the adult rate (strictly subject to availability in Heritage Suite and Courtyard Suite cabins only).

Round-trip transfers are not included in the fare unless unless specifically stated in the booked package. Optional transfers from Hanoi or Bai Chay are available at an additional charge.

Pick up in Hanoi Old Quarter: Approximately 7:45 AM – 8:00 AM.

Pick up at the Bai Chay meeting location: Approximately 11:00 AM.

Exact pick-up details will be confirmed in the evening prior to the trip date. Transfer times are subject to traffic and weather conditions.

Guests arranging their own transportation should arrive at the Oris Cruises lounge at Ao Tien International Port between 11:45 AM and 12:15 PM. Boarding is scheduled from approximately 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM, with cruise departure at approximately 1:00 PM.

• Mandatory registration: Guests must submit full personal details (Full Name, Gender, DOB, Nationality, Passport Number, Arrival date in Vietnam, Visa Expiry Date) at least 24 hours prior to departure. Valid original passport is required at boarding.

• Dietary requests: Special dietary requirements (vegetarian, allergies) must be advised 24 hours in advance.

Travel Insurance: Guests are required to purchase comprehensive personal travel insurance in their home country prior to departure, covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, loss of luggage, and emergency evacuation.

Valuables: Guests are fully responsible for their own personal items. In-cabin safes are provided.

Prohibited items: Weapons, explosives, illegal drugs, and pets are strictly forbidden.

Non-smoking policy: Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas and cabins (allowed on Sundeck only). Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 05:30 AM.

Oris Cruises is not responsible for service delays, changes, or issues caused by factors outside our direct operational control.

Any loss or damage must be reported immediately before disembarkation. Left-behind items can be retrieved at our Hanoi office or returned via courier at the guest's shipping expense. We hold no responsibility for missing items reported after your departure from the cruise.

Oris Cruises assumes no liability for personal illness, injury, or loss of life, except where required under applicable laws. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Vietnamese law.
