Oris Cruises takes a different approach to exploring Halong, sailing through the Halong–Van Don area rather than following the more familiar classic routes. Our journey is designed around quieter waters, lesser-known landscapes and a slower, more immersive way of experiencing the bay. This is the idea behind what we call “The Untold Side of Halong.”

Yes. Kayaking is included in the cruise itinerary, and no previous kayaking experience is required. Life jackets and basic safety instructions are provided before the activity. Kayaking is subject to weather, tide and safety conditions and may be adjusted or cancelled if conditions are unsuitable.

Guest safety is our highest priority. All sailings are subject to weather conditions and permission from the relevant local authorities. If the cruise is cancelled before any services have been used, guests will receive a 100% refund of the amount paid to Oris Cruises. If the cruise is cancelled or shortened after some services have already been used, Oris Cruises will charge only for the services actually provided and refund the remaining eligible amount. If a 3-Day 2-Night journey is shortened to a 2-Day 1-Night journey, the applicable 2-Day 1-Night rate will be charged and the remaining eligible amount refunded.
